Re: Supreme Court decision on O'BUMMER CARE TODAY????

    Now we're getting severability.

That means the rest of it. will it be upheld.

There are 4 points of severability.

Yea, now they're saying the mandate is a tax.

The gov't argued the mandate was not a tax.

They said constitution says it can be a tax.

That's crazy. Looks like years and years of lawsuits unless it gets repealed.

IMO, this hands the WH to Mitt now.

In a race that's going to be decided who can gin up their base the best, this decision no doubt puts Mitt in the drivers seat. I predict you're going to see Super PAC donors, who have mostly remained mum, will not start opening up their wallets.

    Great point HR.

Adelson made a $100M pleadge to Mitt after Wisconsin.

Juan Williams said is puts Mitt on the defensive. This is OBYs
    signature legislation.

Agree HR. Based on a few things but the Focus group I saw last night, even his biggest supporters away few years ago will leave.

Here is Roberts bio listed as a conservative but as I posted in the
beginning, he and Kennedy often voted liberal.

Galen better thank his sweet butt for W who appointed him. H Bush
appointed Souter who was supposed to be conservative but often
went liberal and even voted for Gore in the recount decision.

Ok. I predicted this would be confusing, but not THIS confusing.

There is a line in the ruling that says "The court reinforces that individuals can simply refuse to pay the tax and not comply with the mandate".

That tells me you have an option not to pay. It also tells me there must now be a provision to appeal if you choose not to pay. This expands Government in ways not even Obama dreamed of.

Greta is saying now that the gov't insisted it is
NOT a tax but the court just ruled it is.

So does that mean you still don't have to get it?
