Yea, he hasn't had a migraine since Brad Childress left.

I know he had some sort of neck procedure that helped his migraines. I still wouldn't give him anything close to that $50 million contract he wants with that history. Everyone is getting very serious about head injuries. It's just too much of a risk for that kind of money. If he would play out his rookie deal then it wouldn't be a problem but that's why he wants a trade. With the cap not expected to grow we really need to be smart on how to allocate the space we have.

He's one of the few players that , when healthy, I wouldn't mind hearing the chatter about. A healthy Percy Harvin across from Torrey Smith, can you say explosive.

But Harvin, for the money he is probably seeking, is never healthy enough to be worth it.

I don't think he'd be a good fit in Baltimore (at least in Cam's offense).
He's a pretty dynamic injury waiting to happen is what he is.

He says it's not about a contract, so what is it about?

He's a pretty dynamic player in the slot/ return / RB type situation. But they're not likely to trade him.

If it's not about the contract then why did he ask for a new one earlier this offseason?

I think Harvin knows that his medical history is going to make teams leery about paying him big money so he's trying to push the issue before something really serious happens.

It's definitely about the money, but many are theorizing that it has to do with the offense as well. He wasn't used that much at all last year and now that they drafted Greg Childs and signed Jerome Simpson it's likely that Harvin could see his snaps limited again.

He has the same agent as CJ so if it's a contract dispute, wouldn't he be holding out? worked damn well for CJ...

If he's at camp, he has zero leverage

We'll see if it comes to that. Asking for a trade is the first shot across the bow. The Vikings addressed by saying that won't happen. Now we'll see how Harvin responds.
