OT - The Passing of a Ravens Fan

I know this is personal to me, but I needed to share.

I have been a part of six men who have been rabid Ravens Fans since the beginning. I called the group "Six Pack - No Lights". The other day one bottle was broken.

He was visiting his daughter and son-in-law in England. He was in a car with his two daughters and their husbands. The car went off the road and all of the men were killed. He was one of three brothers in our group, so it was a very hard blow to all of us. This season will not be the same; we always took a group picture and he held the sign with the year in it.

If you are part of a group that tailgates, gets together on Game Day, calls or texts; cherish that relationship and make sure everybody knows it. Life is fleeting and your fun can be watered down in an instant. And above all, let those close to you know how you feel about them.

Think of a Ravens Fan who will be watching from the above from now on.
    Captain Offense

I'm so sorry to hear that Captain. At least some of those in the accident survived. You just never know what's going to happen in life. Live every day.

How devastating this must be to the entire family. I can hardly imagine the grief you must be feeling.

His definitions and arguments were so clear in his own mind that he was unable to understand how any reasonable person could honestly differ with him.
