Glad they started an hour early, now I can flip between the game and the Open

    Re: NBA playoffs

I used to go to the Bullets games all the time when they were here
but lost contact with the NBA after they moved.

I was just watching the game at the water hole.

Can someone explain to me how Oklahoma City gets a pro basketball
team and we don't. Yea, DC is next to us but Oklahoma City a major
    league town? Come one man.

Can someone give me some history here.

When did they get a team.

BTW, like I said it's been a while but today's pro basketball
players look like NFL line backers and tight ends or WRs like
Randy Moss - big and fast.

Those old Bullets were tall but skinny-lol.

The conditioning of today's pros in all sports is just superior to
the old days. I saw an old pic of Brooks Robinson swinging from
1960 and was shocked. He looked like a midget.

Today's 3rd basemen are like TEs.

I was at work but caught the last 2 minutes of the game. Lebron shot a brick within the final minute to give the thunder a chance but Durant never touched the ball the last 2 minutes...

And how about that blocking call on Harden at the end to put the game out of reach with lebrons 2 free throws (bricked the first one, suprise!, but made the second...)

In regards to your question about how OKC got a team. They were formerly the Seattle Supersonics before their owner had a falling out with Seattle legislature and relocated the team to OKC in 2008.

Not if Battier still had on a Duke uniform. He would get that call every time.

I still thought there were too many bad calls on both teams but I guess that's just the way it is. Good game quality and a lot of defense (if you like that). Great series

Kevin Durant vs Lebron was kind of refreshing to watch.

its something we just have to accept sadly. Same with the NFL, although i would say there are some teams in the NFL that definitely always get the benefit of the Refs. The NBA is inconsistent but usually both ways at least.

Im not sure how the "haters" felt but Lebron definitely took over in the 4th, imo. 8pts 4 rebs 50%FG and shut down KD who was obviously frustrated (2 of 6, and some missed FT). Durant did take a shot or two under 2 minutes, it just didnt seem like it because he was taken out of the game defensively. James seemed to be a part of every play, even when he didnt have a statistic on the play. You wont hear much about that today though, itll be more about the thunder and/or wade than lebron taking over. Its a better story to keep that fallacy going.

overall the game was great and the series thus far.

Yea, James, IMO, is becoming one of the better defensive players in the league. He matches up with almost anyone.

IMO he is the best, if only because he hast the rare ability to defend 1-5. not many can say that, and fewer can do it to his effectiveness. how tyson chandler got DPOY over James and Ilbaka i have no idea.

    More blocks?

    Couldn't tell you.

I think that a lot of people perceive Lebron to mostly be an electrifying scorer as opposed to being a solid defensive player as well.
