That estimation is incredibly high (pardon the pun).
Yea..maybe i exaggerated a little. According to time magazine, 42% of americans admit to having at least tried it. Still...

And i think Shas might be on to something...

It does not. THC is fat soluable and can be detected a month after smoking. NFL players have low body fat so it may clear sooner but never in hours or a few days.

Most pro and college athletes use weed or other things. Duh? The painkillers are the worst, weening off them is a bitch. I had to do it, it's easy to get hooked only takes like 3 weeks. Withdrawal symptoms are the worst, scary feelings physically, emotionally and mentally. If you ever need opiate based pain killers MAKE sure you get a 10 day prescription ONLY with NO refills.

How are you going to say it doesn't work when people are living proof?

Not sure what people you are talking about. Medical people will tell you it is fat soluble. You cannot wash it out in a day or so.

    Great article, Tony.
Thanks HR. I thought it might be a bit more controversial. At the end of the day I'd rather my team's players chill out at home with a joint then canvas the town's clubs. The potential pitfalls are significantly less IMO.

    :word

Pain pills are a real danger for anyone who plays pro sports. It's very easy to make the pain go away with a pill and very dangerous. That is great advice

I actually have it on very good authority that Ed is bipolar. It's easy to draw a line between his behavior -- making contradictory statements, and swinging back and forth between being very negative and very positive about playing football -- and that diagnosis.

So, I shouldn't poke fun at his behavior since there is a mental disorder at the heart of it.

Well, I think I'll take personal experience over what medical people say.

I actually said the same thing in another thread. It may have came off as a joke, but I was actually serious.
