When I'm in a beer mood....I prefer Flying Dog Ales (all "flavors"). I also really like Smithwick's on draft. When I go for the harder stuff I drink Bacardi silver and diet soda. My favorite rum is actually Myer's but the Bacardi has zero carbs (I'm diabetic).

When I occasionally sip whiskey I prefer Bushmill's.

I can't believe the love for Smithwicks here

If you get a chance get to a Dogfish Pub. They do a lot of really great combo's with some of the beers.

I had the Aprihop with a 2 oz pour on the top of the 120 min IPA. I was surprised at how well it tasted.

Yea, I grew up down that way. I went to the brewery a couple of times a long time ago before they got real popular.

I don't like it either. Big fan of both Heavy Seas and Dogfish Head, though. Neither brewery can do any wrong as far as I've been able to tell so far.
    Festivus

His definitions and arguments were so clear in his own mind that he was unable to understand how any reasonable person could honestly differ with him.

I had an outstanding Dubbel the other night. I'm a big fan of Tripel's as well, but sometimes they teeter on the brink of being a barley wine and I've never been a big barley wine guy.

just came from 'stout' on 33rd. i had the milk stout - man this is one of the best stouts i have ever had. definitely recommend this place for anyone in NYC.

p.s. ginger man is really good too - they had the lagunitas IPA on tap, one of my all time favorites along with the stone IPA!

Great beer. Lagunitas is probably my favorite brewery.
