For the record, Reed through a legit fastball on the first pitch. Looked split-fingered will find out when he gets back up here

At the Oriole's game and lo and behold my man Ed Reed is jacking pitches at BP. Told me he got a few to the warning track, but no HRs
Ed was actually a great baseball player in high school, I think he chose the right sport though.
Lot of the Ravens at the game tonight, Webb tweeted a picture of himself all decked out in O's gear.Follow me on Twitter! https://twitter.com/#!/thenflanalyst

Paranoid is the right word... A normal light cardio routine and some free weight lifting carry greater injury risk than throwing a pitch and taking some BP cuts.
These guys have to stay in shape and they have a right to enjoy themselves and blow off some steam.
I get that you don't like to see injuries, but I'd rather the occasional injury from working out or staying loose than have a guy show up looking like he spent the off season under the strict tutelage of Ronald McDonald, Colonel Sanders, and Papa John.
