Re: Cerrato confirmed Sizzle has torn achillles

Ok...we will have to hope that it isn't quite as bad...Ravens don't know if it's partial or a complete tear.

If it's partial, he MAY be able to rehab it and be ready around the beginning-middle of the season.

It's not like he's going to help that much.

BaltimoreRavens.com just re-tweeted Adam Schefter, which sounds pretty darn close to a confirmation. It's been confirmed by 3 or 4 reputable sources at this point, so it's no longer a rumor.

Apparently there's disagreement over whether it's a partial or full tear, but that doesn't matter. Best case scenario for a partial tear is probably the PUP, worst case is full tear which means he misses all of 2012 and may never be the same.

Achilles tendon is pretty much the worst sports injury possible.

    Ugh.

Horrible news if true. Even if it's a tear, that's a year recovery.

Suggs's twitter feed hasn't been posted to since May 1st. He did NOT tweet that it isn't true.
"A lot" is a two word expression denoting a great deal or greatly, as in "I like sunshine a lot." "Alot" is a lovable imaginary grammar monster. You can love a lot; you can love an alot; you can love alots a lot; but they are not the same thing.

Terrible news. God. REALLY fucking terrible.

(And A LOT of us owe a HUGE apology to a certain poster from yesterday. Boy, that guy pwned this board with his nuggety rumor.)

Devastating, holy shit I am bummed out. Feels like the Jamal news. This really hurts our chances in what is probably Ray's last year. I need a beer.
