BaltimoreRavens.com just re-tweeted Adam Schefter, which sounds pretty darn close to a confirmation. It's been confirmed by 3 or 4 reputable sources at this point, so it's no longer a rumor.

Apparently there's disagreement over whether it's a partial or full tear, but that doesn't matter. Best case scenario for a partial tear is probably the PUP, worst case is full tear which means he misses all of 2012 and may never be the same.

Achilles tendon is pretty much the worst sports injury possible.
