the media and scouts had hill going as high as the browns in round 1, the media and scouts had steeter going in round 2/3 the media and scouts had brewster going round 3/4 the media and scouts get a hell of a lot wrong and yet you take them as gospel

The whole "we could get so and so later" argument is crazy in the end...all it freaking takes is one...ONE team to draft a guy and that goes out of the window.

if they really were that great the would be with a team.. and even if they are its just one persons opinion that could be biased in some way or another such as overall valuing certain positions or schools etc. Teams had multiple people form their boards to get varying opinions. A scouting team, that scout 1000s of prospects know better than one guy who cant scout everyone and a lot of their "reports" would be based on what they hear because they cant see them all.

And you have no idea what the scouts think of particular players. Unless they are publishing their scouting reports or you are friends with 98% of the leagues scouts, that argument is invalid.
    This.

Disinformation is the status quo leading up to the draft.

Lol. Except when media tells you that Piss /NE coveted a player we took, you run with it. See post 131. When someone in the media applauds one of our moves you quote/repeat. Disinformation by the media only exist or is acknowledged when it suits your narrative.

but you're ignoring the fact that you have no clue how any of the scouts or teams had any of their players ranked. Nobody know's except those teams.
"What would you give for the man beside you?"

I didn't post that, but in the end sure, that's all we have when we make our opinions...before the draft. It may or may not be true.

But some facts here are that Brewster was not thought as highly as the media led us to believe, nor were that group of WR's. Those are facts. Gino is speculation.

Yeah, that's exactly how they operate.
Thanks for this. I forgot all Ozzie does is play golf all year.

The folks on this board are correct. We will not know how it turns out for a while, but it still is fun to speculate. Folks have to remember that is what happens when you pick 29. Sometimes the other guys' hard work also pays off, so teams like the Ravens, who always draft well, occasionally are not left with highly rated prospects when it comes to their pick.

Oh well here's to picking 32nd next year.

The media has absolutely no legitimate insight to what a team wants to do. They're shooting from the hip just like we are.

The disinformation comes from the team, not the media.

Not sure why any persons "narrative" gets called into question. It is what it is.

It's only after the draft we learn a teams true target. It happens every year with every team.

There no way we can say how the draft went rught now. However if theres a word to describe the draft it is potential. This draft can come out great or horrible.

Upshaw could be a top 5 olb in this league especially on a team that breeds top linebackers.

Gradkowski was the #1 center according to the steelers patriots and ravens

And even streeter is a pick i loved. Hes stephrn hill in the 6th rd. If he can learb to go up and get the ball instead of waiting for it, he could be special.

    3. With Pouncy and their first 2 picks why would Piss take Gradkowski in the 4th? So much BS flies around about which team covets this/that player to make another team jump. Ozzie and co. missed out on players they coveted early and panicked
with their 3rd and 4th round picks.

    4. Did our offense struggle do to lack of a quality RB? Quality running backs were left to fill backup role. Investing 2 picks into a backup from the MAC is a stretch.
Pouncey had high ankle surgery placing to permanent screws in his ankle, thermally know what he will be like. It is a very risky surgery. It is a a surgery that helps you walk and move around for people like us. But, but for 300 lb men playing football it will limit his flexibilty, quickness and range of motion. That's why they kept
Legursky. Pouncey's future is a major question and will be the same player? Odds are based on that type of surgery, likely not.
