Re: The 2012 NFL Draft Thread -- LIVE Discussion on Picks, Moves, etc.

How much did Cleveland give up?

Edit: The question has been answered.

We should be picking around 11:30pm tonight give or take. That is when the Bears picked last year at #29.

You're arguing that a stupid trade made by one of the worst drafting teams in the entire NFL to acquire a player who plays a highly replaceable position should convince people that running backs are still a premier position.

thats why there are the browns..and can never have a winning record because they can never build through the draft by giving them all up or the majority of them.

Vikings smoke screen and press release tactics worked as Cleveland bit, good for them

That's why they are the Browns. Even with Holmgren they are stupid.

    LOL.

Please let me see your crystal ball since you can see the future.

Amazing how you just proclaimed it one of the worst trades ever when Richardson hasn't even stepped on the field.

Amazing how all these GM's are idiots by re-signing running backs and drafting great ones high year after year. But you know better, I forgot. Trent Richardson.....easily replaceable just like all the rest. Just pick one in the 4th round he would do the same thing.

Holmgren is totally clueless, what the hell has he ever done in this league?

If you use the value chart, Brownies got a good trade (other than the fact that they likely would've gotten him at four)
But they need bodies and Belichick was just talking about the depth in this draft. Time will tell

Ridiculous trade. They could have sat where they were, got Blackmon and still been in a position to draft a good running back. As good as Richardson undoubtedly is, he's not worth Blaclkmon AND an alternative RB.

According to PFT, Ozzie has projected that nine players could be available at 29 and thinks 4 or 5 of those players will be definitely there when they are ready to pick.
