Re: 2012 NFL Draft discussion
First pick will be at 8 EST (1 AM our time).
I fully expect to be staying up until 5AM to hear the words "and the Ravens have traded the 29th pick...""Flacco stepping up and throwing deep down the far sideline... CAUGHT!!! Into the endzone, TOUCHDOWN JACOBY JONES!!!!!"

Re: 2012 NFL Draft discussion
Yeah, I don't want to stay up until what could be 5am in the morning just to see the Ravens trade away their pick. Not with work in the morning especially.
First thing to look up though. Make my morning beverage taste better, Oz.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft discussion
Irsay is tweeting about how long he may make them wait for the first pick. I gotta admit he comes off as a total attention-needing tool.

Re: The 2012 NFL Draft Thread -- LIVE Discussion on Picks, Moves, etc.
Denver wants to trade out of the number 25 pick.
http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/...rade-down.html
The Denver Broncos have the 25th pick in the draft tonight, but they wouldn't mind getting rid of it to move down and pick up an extra pick if they can.
John Elway told the Denver Post that such a move would be a preference in the draft if possible.
"Preferably, we'd like to go back," said Elway, the Broncos VP of football operations.
The reasoning is that the Broncos draft board probably has players 25 through 40 with very similar rankings, so the difference in the player taken could be negligible. Of course, a lot of teams' draft boards may be like that, making a trade tougher to do.
