I doubt the Pats would trade to a division rival.

Sorry for the hold up. Had an early morning engineering lab.

This pick will not be popular with ravenswintitle.

With the 9th pick in the draft, the Carolina Panthers select Michael Brockers.

Carolina needs a run stopper in the worst way. Brockers is the best run stopper in the draft. At 6'6" 310 pounds, he provides the force inside needed to free up linebackers Jon Beason and Thomas Davis.

While some feel Cox is better, I trust Nick Saban in a talent of judgement. The Alabama oline double teamed Cox 8 times when they played Miss St. They double teamed Brockers 42 times when they played LSU

You have to go with your gut. If we all just pick chalk it would be a dull draft. The Bills are on the clock.

Re: 2012 Ravens24x7 NFL Mock Draft

With the tenth pick in the mock draft the Buffalo Bills select

    Stephon Gilmore CB, South Carolina

Lots of options here and quite a few team needs. I was strongly looking at some Oline help to help along CJ Spiller, Fred Jackson and Ryan Fitzpatrick

But I'm going defensive back and I've selected Stephon Gilmore CB, South Carolina
Himself and Arron Williams who was drafted last year will be a good tandem and Bills have some other good defensive backs
I like his height at 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m) but I don't select on that alone, however being tall helps and so does being physical
As a freshman he clocked up 52 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, and nine passes defended. That's a long time ago and college level but he's not shy about tackling when required

I might get flamed here over not going Oline but I have one pick and I have to make it

May he pick off Brady and Sanchez for years to come

No way. I think Gilmore is one of the better cornerback prospects in this draft and considering the Bills face the Patriots twice a year it makes a lot of sense to get as many talented corners as you can.

    Cool, thanks for the replies

It was mighty tempting to go offensive line all the same but went defensive back
I'm sure the Bills will go for linemen in later rounds in the real draft

I've a soft spot for Buffalo, losing four superbowls, small market team and the Jets, Patriots and the fickle fanbase and ass of a GM in Miami as division rivals
    I wish them well

Kansas City has three big areas of need, but I am going to go with what I think is the surest pick to aid their running game and help Matt Cassell out.

With the 11th pick of the draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select David DeCastro, G, Stanford.

I considered Luke Kuechly and Dontari Poe as well, but think I can address the LB later and I'm not conpletely sold on Poe.

    DeCastro is a solid pick.

    For Seattle?

Re: 2012 Ravens24x7 NFL Mock Draft

Tough choice for Seattle here. They lost their ILB, their pass rush sucks, and they need help to fix their Oline.

With the 12th pick of the draft, the Seattle Seahawks select Quinton Coples, DE, North Carolina.

It came down to Coples and Kuechly. I think the pass rush is a bigger need that won't be as easily addressed in later rounds because the drop off seems greater to me at pass rush in this draft. Concerned about the character issues, but hoping the pick pays off.
