See it depends what point im making.

Quoting an ocean city Tshirt shop to support my point on what the average person thinks is not unreasonable. If I were quoting it on something scientific, it would only be ok if the tshirt was peer reviewed...

But of course you can't see the difference.
I think I would need a peer reviewed study to sway you about what I ate for breakfast. I don't think you'd take my word for it that it was chex mix in the car on the way to work....

No need to get all defensive. I've always thought true wisdom comes in the most simplistic of prose. Lao Tzu comes to mind but if you find your wisdom on the boardwalk T's, hey all the more power to you. You'll have to keep me informed as I don't make it down there much anymore.

Why does HOW somebody came to a policy position matter, what should matter is what is best for the country (not each person voting, which is ACTUALLY how many people vote - self interest).

I wouldn't call myself a Taoist, as in I practice Taoism, but I have been referring to the Tao Te Ching for 30 years now as a resource for living. My mom was a practicing buddhist so there was some family influence of eastern religious thought.

Nope eastern religions aren't judgemental like western religions. Hard to fathom, huh?

LOL, so who judges what is right and wrong, better or worse, so you can know what to do to improve your karma and come back either closer to Nirvana or as a better living thing?

    Everybody makes judgments. Everybody.
