OBY heads west young man, after boost in polls
A jubiliant incumbent went west on the campaign trail as his numbers shot
up to the crucial 50%, just where he needs to be but this boost is a result more of default from GOP candidates than the economy.
Nobody likes any of the GOPs opposing him but Romney still has the best chance of beating him. Before he lost the heartland primaries he was ahead of OBY but comes in now anywhere from 42-48% depending on poll.
I just wish Santorum would STFU and get the hell out of dodge because he has no chance of winning if nominated which he won't be no matter how many primaries he wins cause Romney is the establishment's man.
On the flip side for the hamster, people aren't enthused with his economic team with gas prices rising to $4 as well as food prices. Unemployment is at 8.3% if you believe the gov'ts numbers.
OBY also used the polls to rip the Cath Church in half with the contraception thing. See contraception thread. Some Cath health care groups are for it while the Bishops and priests are vs it.
It was perfect timing for the chairman to get people's mind off other things like the economy and his desire to dismantle 80% of our nukes taking us
below China's level.
That's what happens when they're the land lord and you're behind in the rent.
Scary times as libbies continue to destroy the country and OBY stands
a good chance of being elected to destroy itd even further.
Got this link from Drudge. Just seemed like the place to go.

I love watching the GOP starting to panic. Obama has been able to win several of the last political battles and make the GOP look bad. Romney is on the defense to Santorum. I mean if that doesn't speak VOLUMES to the current state of the GOP than nothing will. Obama 2012.

Scary times indeed. You've got a President that continues to go around the constitution, a congress that won't stop him. He want's to dramatically decrease our nuclear arsenal while Iran is trying to develop nukes.
I am not a Romney fan I like some of the things about him, but not sure I trust him giving his flip-flopping past. Gingrich is okay but I don't see him reviving his campaign, AGAIN. Santurom is just running on social issues (:grbac:), and Paul hasn't even won a state (yet). So tired of voting against something instead of for something.
Maybe at this point we can hope for a brokered convention.

Re: OBY heads west young man, after boost in polls
Gotta agree with Galen for once on all counts especially on him winning the political battles. He's just sitting back laughing his ass off right now like with the new tax cut plan. Complete bull shit and it adds to the deficit.
As Rush said, GOP caved in again because they were afraid to make
this an election issue since health care was involved. That's the part
that adds to the debt and our health premiums are rising fast cause
of it.
Now Rush laughs at the $40 bucks the average person will get but
it's better than nothing, especially if you're not in the 1% of the highest
paid Americans. Less than 1% of the population
control most of America's wealth.
Yea, that's what I keep saying NC. I'll never vote vs something or for the
lesser evil like W although I'd hate to see this country now if Gore won.
It would be even worse off and Sodom Hussein and Binny Bin Laden
would still be alive and blowing things up.
So, who do I vote for? Im voting for me. I'm submitting my name as a
write-in. Go ahead and laugh but It's just as good as any name to waste my vote on and nobody can accuse me of not voting. Romney has more
flip flops than an Aunt Jamima pancake.
GET THIS NC: His latest comment is that he was just faking it as a
liberal in Mass as guv. Well, that ROMNEY CARE which O BUMMER CARE
is copied after has Mass $1.5B into debt is a pretty good fake and he
fakes it even more saying it's the DEMs that followed him. They're the
ones who over-spent. That's like me faking it and saying I could
score with Webb and Ed Reed covering me-lol.
This joker is still better than the hamster.Last edited by AirFlacco; 02-16-2012 at 11:00 AM.

Re: OBY heads west young man, after boost in polls
Well, I won't not vote for whoever opposes BHO. I've thought about it and considered it but there is no way we can afford 4 more years of BHO.
I know the useful idiots think he's doing a great job, but there isn't one thing they can (legitimately) point that says anything that has happened since he's been President is good for the country.
They may try to use recent jobless claims, but that doesn't mean there are less unemployed, just less people claiming unemployment benefits.
BHO ran against "the failed economic policies of the past 8 years", then has more debt and higher deficits in 3.5 than Bush did in 8.
Anyone who celebrates that is a complete and total useless moron.

Re: OBY heads west young man, after boost in polls
But that's what they are - morons. The real trajedy is the country isn't upset with the deficit. If they think this recession/depression is bad wait til they start paying for it like the Greeks. The EU is being pressurized to kick them out because they are taking it under. They can't give them any more buyouts as most of the $$ is coming from Germany - one country.
Once out they will default. The PIIGS have been down graded again, even France was downgraded.
We're not that much better. The liberals have a plan
to keep spending to destroy the economy and the country.
Look how bad it's gotten since they took over. Look how bad the country has gotten since FDR started the liberal ball moving.

Re: OBY heads west young man, after boost in polls
Obama is +9 right now with independents whereas he was -9 a month ago. That is an 18 point swing in 30 days.
I think yesterday, as far as political optics are concerned, really showed why Obama is moving out ahead.
Obama was at Masterlock talking about "insourcing" where Masterlock has returned about 100 jobs from China back to Milwaukee since mid 2010. You can see where the administration is going with this idea and you will be hearing more about it in the next year.
Last night there was a program on T.V. which I didn't watch because I was out at the Torrey Smith signing but it spoke about how how a GM factory in Michigan has had to open a night shift to because of an reemerging need for trucks. This isn't about cars but trucks which is a product of the construction industry starting to pick up.
Today was another big drop in unemployment registrants which is now 5 weeks in a row and which will lead to another big jobs report the first Friday in March in favor of Obama.
So those are all on Obama's side while yesterday, Romney was seen all over the place desperately trying to wiggle out of his statements about not bailing out the auto industry. Additionally the GOP is sticking their tails between their legs over the payroll tax cut and still pushing this contraception issue which is probably the greatest polling disaster they have faced in the past year.
Political optics matter and yesterday was a good example of the different directions these parties are currently going.

Re: OBY heads west young man, after boost in polls
Exactly right. I was gonna say hiM. Even
he damaged the military and put it in bad shape when WW 1 started. They
all do. Like I keep saying FDR put the entire fleet in one spot and gave
all Eastern Europe to Stalin who conquered it w/o firing a shot.
Teddy Roosevelt sure screwed that election up when he started his own
party and split the GOP even though he pal, succeeded him and rubber
stamped just about everything he wanted.
That allowed Wilson to win. Look what the liberal DEMs did all the
way back in 1913. I keep saying man, this is a plan to destroy the
country and look at the words inflation and debt here. Sound familiar?

Created in 1913 by progressive Democrats in both Houses of Congress and liberal-hero Woodrow Wilson, the privately-owned Federal Reserve Bank cartel creates our money from thin air, backed with nothing, at interest. The Federal Reserve Bank cartel profits from the inflation they create and assures the United States and American citizens will always be in increasing debt.

Re: OBY heads west young man, after boost in polls
And looked who funded Wilson's campaign - Mr. Banker himself - Rothchild
of England. Why would he do that?
He got the libs to create the Federal Reserve Bank and guess who owns the
largest amount of shares in the bank today?
You got it - the Rothchilds.
And guess who the main family is of the Bilderberg Group?
You got it - the Rothchilds - still in the banking business.
_________________________________________________
The Rothschild's funded Woodrow Wilson's Presidential campaign on condition Wilson pass the Federal Reserve Banking Act. Today the Rothschild's are the primary owners of the Federal Reserve Bank. They control most of the world and through the control of central banks have instigated more wars and horror than any other family throughout history.

HEY NC - Maybe we should vote for Ron Paul. He just doesn't speak on
social issues, man. Look at this quote from the link. You guys are getting
a free education in the history of US banking and I'm making sure Galen
sits at the head of the class.
___________________________________________
In Producer Aaron Russo's must see Movie "AMERICA: Freedom to Fascism", when interviewing Congressman Ron Paul, Aaron asks: "So the Federal Reserve is actually an illegal entity functioning within the Federal Government?" Ron Paul's response: "It's illegal. And what we have given to this so-called agency is the authority to counterfeit money."
_________________________________________
Many of us say IRS is illegal too. Now look at the primary owners
of the Federal Reserve - some of the main players that demanded TARP
$$ and got it from two presidents of two parties. Notice Lehman's
and Sachs names in there? And this added more than $1T to the debt.
Just like stated above, the Fed Reserve will always ensure we stay
in debt.
1. Rothschild's of London and Berlin
2. Lazard Brothers of Paris
3. Israel Moses Seaf of Italy
4. Kuhn, Loeb & Co. of Germany and New York
5. Warburg & Company of Hamburg, Germany
6. Lehman Brothers of New York
7. Goldman, Sachs of New York
8. Rockefeller Brothers of New York
They started this recession/depression and Sachs has now fully
recovered and even controls the money the Federal Reserve Bank
sends them from the PPT to buy the indexes on the market. I've
talked about the PPT many times and that was created by Reagan.

Re: OBY heads west young man, after boost in polls
FROM WIKI:
In his first term as President, Wilson persuaded a Democratic Congress to pass major progressive reforms. Historian John M. Cooper argues that, in his first term, Wilson successfully pushed a legislative agenda that few presidents have equaled, and remained unmatched up until the New Deal.[1] This agenda included the Federal Reserve Act, Federal Trade Commission Act, the Clayton Antitrust Act, the Federal Farm Loan Act and an income tax. Child labor was curtailed by the Keating–Owen Act of 1916, but the U.S. Supreme Court declared it unconstitutional in 1918. He also had Congress pass the Adamson Act, which imposed an 8-hour workday for railroads.[2] Wilson, after first sidestepping the issue, became a major advocate for the women's suffrage.
