I would be pissed if I were him getting cut the eve of the game because he wasnt in the plan for the superbowl. If that was the case why not cut him right after the title game I think they is more to it.

No discipline issues if that's what you mean by more to it
They activated Chad Johnson so they don't need Underwood at WR.
And they can now bring up another Dlineman
It's crushing for the player of course

They could've left him inactive rather than cutting him. I hope 85 drops a crucial pass ;)
