Pagano taps Arians to be his OC

Interesting move. Arians "retired", then it came out that the Steelers pushed him out. Now Chuck nabs him to run the Colts offense.

Former Steelers OC Bruce Arians has agreed to become the Colts new OC. He's flying to Indianapolis on Monday to review and sign contract.

    That is pretty interesting.

I don't envy Pagano the situation he's inherited. Even if Luck is all he's cracked up to be, that is a terrible team, and they're about to lose their best players.

I understand why he took the job. There are no guarantees another one was coming along; there aren't alot of them out there.

I just bet he's unemployed in 2 years.

I read a tweet earlier stating Tomlin met with Caldwell for the OC position. Not overly thrilled with the choice, if it's true, but weird with them possibly switching teams.

Well, as an Offensive coordinator, Caldwell wouldn't be responsible to clock management.

That's probably a good decision, actually. Can't argue with it.

He wasn't the guy who brought Ben from rookie to what he is now, but he's been a part of it.

Didn't knowhe was Peyton's first QB coach though.

Funny how a former Raven hires a former Steeler.

Swapping OC's huh, wow. Just wow. Especially if Rooney wants to go back to the physical offense of the past it would surprise me to bring in Caldwell.

Arians not so retired after all

    Pagano grabbed him:

I love that this is a little embarrassing for the Steelers.

I wonder if the Ravens gave any consideration to replacing Cam with Arians. I think they should have, but it sounds like they didn't even think about it.

    Roethlisberger is NOT happy.

That, undoubtedly, makes me a little warmer inside today.
