    It's Newt in SC

    What baggage?

Newt just blew Romney away in SC primary after Mitt spent a lot more money. However, the prob seemed to be in the debate when Romeny struggled to answer questions about his taxes. He's accused of paying about 15% less than others in his tax bracket and he refused to release his taxes til April..

This is the 2d loss for Romney this week after the Iowa GOP caucus overturned the orginal count that previously gave Mitt the victory. There was a voting discrepancy with 8 precincts not turning in certified results.

Romney had won by 8 votes but in the end it turned out Santorum won by 34 and was declared the winner.

Mitt of course won the liberal NH primary as expected
but lost in the conservative south.

The next primary in Florida is crucial. If Romney fails there he is in deep poop while the former liberal guv Jeb Bush has remains quiet and unsupportive of anyone.

Newt even took a swipe at the GOPs leadership for sporting someone with O Bummer-type values while he spoke of conservative values.

However, the media's assault on him, unlike their assault on Herman Cain, didn't have the same result when they brought up his ex who said he demanded an open marriage.

Stay tuned. It's not over til it's over and it ain't over yet but it will be
interesting to see Newt blow O BUMMER away in the debates like he
did Mitt. That said, I'm still not 100% for him yet.

Florida will be quite interesting because it will be a winner-take-all contest. Whoever wins Florida will get all of the Florida delegates.

Off the point, seriously, how the hell did that sneaky bastard win South Carolina? The guy cannot be trusted...

    Good question.

My bet is #1. He got a lot of pac money from

the casino magnate in Vegas. See Casino thread.

Also, SC is full of conservatives as you know and the Southern Baptists don't like Romney
because he's Mormon. Most people in SC are
    Southern Baptists.

But your not trusting him is why I say I'm
not 100% for him. Newt stole money from the Fannies and Freddies just like Dodd and Barney Frank did if only a fraction of the
    millions they stole.

He's also for legalizing illegal immigrants so that makes him a Bush liberal in my book.

If he is what repukes are going to use against Obama, the repukes are in big trouble.

What's a repuke? I'm sorry, we only have intelligent discussions here and that's not really a word.

Keep telling yourself that. It's keeping Obama up at night.

I imagine you base this off of the liberal talking heads telling you Newt has no chance, and Romney is all they've got. It's all to apparent you didn't watch the debates.

Dr. Gingrich is hitting his stride at the right time.

Shaping up to be Mittens and Dr Gingrich for all the marbles. And in spite what the MSM tries to spin, I am ok with either.

Please...please...please...like Gingrich. He's a nice guy! Great values! All that smart stuff is an act. He's really just an average guy! He is perfect. Good hair. A perfect candidate. He found Christ. He loves his country more than his wife(ves). Its the MSM that caused all those "character issues" not Newt. Love him! He's a total hawtie anyways. Vote often.

Conservative heavyweight Trannie Coulter actually gets something spot on but I dont want you guys believing her though because the Newtser is your man:

Wow, really? You made a lot of assumptions, and you did not bother to inquiry into my statements?

No I didn't bother to inquire into your statements. They spoke for themselves. If you watched the debates in SC you would have understood how Gingrich won. Instead however, your the one making assumptions Gingrich can't be trusted.

Imagine that, someone willing to agree with a certain group on a specific topic, even though they otherwise share opposing views. :grbac:
