Heading to London
Greetings Gents,
The Mrs and I are making a trip to London in the late summer / early fall and wanted to get some ideas on where to stay, what to see, etc. We are hitting London after a week in Germany so we will only have two to three days to explore.
Any ideas you can pass on will be appreciated!

Re: Heading to London
It really depends on what you taste and budget is. If you are willing to pay for expensive hotels, then the Hilton near Canary Wharf would be a nice place that over looks the river thames, http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hote...rside/index.do . This puts you right in the center of London, and gives you excellent access to any landmarks you may want to see. I suggest checking out the O2 center if there are any shows of interest at the time of your visit, it really is a great experience. There are also many clubs and bars that you can check out, nightlife is awesome in London, but can be expensive. I hope this helps.

That's the hotel we booked! Nice to know its one of the better ones.
We don't like doing the tourist thing so any recommendations on restaurants and pubs that the locals frequent would be what we are looking for.
