    My rookie 2nd string qb in madden 2nd preseason game. He only threw 18 passes becase he only played the 2nd half of the game

    I guess I understand why you are posting this, but obviously this is a totally different situation.

    That was a once in a generation D, and we were looking for Dilfer to not lose the game for us. This time around, our D is very good compared to the other Defenses this year, but not anywhere close to what we had in 2000.

    I agree with your point that it really doesn't matter what his numbers look like if we win the game, I just think a lot of people on here and the national "experts" think that Joe is going to have a better game than Dilfer did to make that happen.

    Yes, 2000 was a once in a generation D. But just go with my point on the thread. I'm just tired of all the "Is Joe elite" talk and the so-called experts pointing out his stats from last Sunday. We made it to the Championship Game and I don't care what Joe does. Just enjoy the week and win!!!
