The media looks at stats; the fantasy fans look at stats; Madden players look at stats. The only stat that matters is a team win. No team in the NFL is going to have an elite player at every position - the salary cap doesn't allow for it.

The thing that follows Flacco around is the "game manger" moniker, which some talking head came up with and got it to stick. It's not really accurate, but every lazy so-called media-type (and fan, too) will grab on to whatever popular thing is being said and run with it because it's the easy thing to do, rather than come up with an original thought or opinion.

Sure, Flacco manages a game, but when they need him to come up with a 92-yard drive in the final two minutes, he can do that as well. He may not be elite, but he wins games and is much more than a game manager.

Great post!!! I loved the video by the way. Suggs looks pissed off..that is how I want him going into this game. He plays better when he is all fired up!

As for SugarRay on here...I lol'd at all of his comments and I just ignore him. He is a Ravens fan and not everyone likes Joe...its okay.
