Listening to your local sports station this afternoon
And I feel for you guys. These two hosts are awful. Are they really debating over who is better between Alex Smith and Joe Flocco on AFCCG week?? :insane:
You guys must want to reach through the speakers and choke these jokers. :grbac:
Is this what it's like all the time?? No wonder Joe is taking shots at the media.

Why is that a bad debate topic exactly?
I'm no fan of our local radio hosts save a few, but this is a debate able topic.

Re: Listening to your local sports station this afternoon
Were you listening to 105.7 "the fan?" Here is a run down.
Steve Davis - not terrible but his love of Derrick Mason can get annoying
Ed Norris - great political talk show host converted to mediocre at best sports talk host.
Ken Weinman - resident Matt Ryan lover and Steeler fan (although he denies it). Famed Orioles apologist.
Vinny Cerrato - couldn't get a job anywhere else, shamed ex-GM and ultimate Dan Snyder jock sniffer (still).
Bob & Rob - definitely the best the area has to offer even if Rob Long is terrible at predicting NFL draft picks
Scott Garceau - good play by play, boring as talk show host
Jeremy Conn - Colt fan from Maryland (too young to be old Colt fan) who named his son Peyton. 'Nuff said.
Mark Zinno - god awful. New York guido in every sense of the word. When you hear his voice don't even turn off your radio, rip it out of your car and run it over with a truck to ensure you will never have to suffer that experience again
so yea, one good show out of four isn't a great statistic.

Re: Listening to your local sports station this afternoon
Weinman & Cerrato are horrible. I have no idea why the hired an ex-Redskins GM to host a Baltimore talk show. However, worse than these 2 is Garceau and Conn. Thanks goodness for WNST as another option.
I turned on Garceau and Conn around 4pm last Friday and they weren't talking about anything even remotely interesting. Then I tuned in WNST and they were interviewing the Texans play by play guy. Then WNST interviewed Bum Phillips. What a difference in programming!
However, Davis and Norris are great as well as Bob & Rob. I wish they would switch the Garceau/Conn and Bob/Rob timeslots though.

OK good point Brick; guess I'm so used to the PM Brady ongoing debate.
Not sure the Eli/Brady debate would take too long...
