If Flacco were my son I would advise him to use this as fuel. I know these guys are professional but some things attack the very core of who you are as a person, and this is one of them. Every time he starts to yawn during a film session, he should hear Skip Bayless. Every time he's ready to call it quits at the end of practice he should call his receivers back and get more reps in. Be obsessive like Ray was in 2000. Then when he wins it all and the camera shines on him, just throw up a middle finger and walk to the locker room.

She's an idiot, just like anyone else who puts yesterday's offensive performance all on Flacco. In fact, I'd say the o-line, WR's, and Cam all had more to do with it than Joe.

I'm sorry did Aaron Rodgers win yesterday? Did he lose to a 9-7 team at home? He has won a playoff game in 1 of his 4 seasons. Aaron Rodgers is great, but pretty bad timing to make that comparison!

Dan Dierdorf of all people said yesterday that Joe put himself in a no win situation with the media. The media takes every attack seriously even if Joe doesn't. He's better off ignoring them then responding.

The ironic part is Eli gets tons of questions here as well. And it's from the people who believe Flacco is better or who believe Flacco gets treated unfairly.

Joe now has the opportunity to learn from this, but I don't think he cares as long as the team continues to win. That was his point all along.

No, the perception will not change if he puts up great numbers against New England. They'll just say that the Patriots defense was not good and something like, 'Let's see what he can do against New York and that Giants pass rush'.

It has become personal and the media is even more steamed about it, because Joe is right. Rodgers is gone. Stafford is gone. Brees is gone. None of them could run the ball the way that the Ravens can, or the way the 49ers usually can, or the way New York has been doing. Joe was right and it is eating them up.

First, they pointed to his TD-Int ratio in the playoffs. Well, he threw two TDs and 0 Ints. Then, they focused on his QB ratings. Well, he had a rating of 97 and some change against a top 3 Texans defense. They are running out of things to say, but will try to the death to find something new.

How does what the media says affect the outcome of a game? Therefore who cares what they say. The Ravens are not NE and they don't win like them. They have their own style of winning. Thank goodness there is more than one way to win. Like Harbaugh said in the locker room yesterday after the game. Paraphrasing-How many teams can hold a 4 point lead like the Ravens did. Flacco did enough to win, Rodgers didn't. Who'd you rather be today?

Why is this woman paid to write sports commentary? She is obviously the type that belongs in the kitchen or laundry room.

    No it won't.

Flacco isn't a pretty boy media icon. He'll never be.

It's hilarious because never mind the fact that Arian Foster ran all over the Ravens defense yesterday and the Texans' DL demolished the Ravens front 7.
