Brutal NE Weather Could Cause Another Post Season Disaster for Pats
The forecast for Foxborough on Saturday Night is a low of 9 degrees.
The general feeling is that the Broncos can't beat the Patriots in a shootout. However extremely cold weather, often means lower scoring games as it is harder to pass the ball. Also would favor the Broncos running attack with Tebow and McGahee.
Low scoring, close game would probably work to the Broncos advantage.
Brady and the Pats haven't had much success in cold weather the last two times in the playoffs. Last year it was 30 degrees when they lost to the Jets 28-21, after destroying them earlier in the season.
In 2009 the Pats lost to the Ravens at home in the playoffs 33-14, and the gametime weather was 20 degrees.
I'm thinking the Broncos might just pull this one off and the winner of the Ravens-Texans game would therefore get the AFC Championship game at home.

In the name of Tebow, the most merciful, the most compassionate...
I hope it happens.

I like it.
"A lot" is a two word expression denoting a great deal or greatly, as in "I like sunshine a lot." "Alot" is a lovable imaginary grammar monster. You can love a lot; you can love an alot; you can love alots a lot; but they are not the same thing.

Yeah, a couple of years ago Brady and company went to Chicago in a snow storm and Brady ended up throwing for like 400 yards. Cold weather won't hurt them.

When they lose, it won't be because of the weather.

The refs will be happy to help him out, ask Oakland about that...

Re: Brutal NE Weather Could Cause Another Post Season Disaster for Pats
Instead of weather the bigger issue IMO is NE did not beat a team with a winning record all year. They feasted on .500 and less teams, and 2/3 of their losses came to teams with a winning record.
The key to beating Brees/Brady/Rodgers is pressure up front. Disrupt their ability to pass from the start of the play. If Denver can dial up Miller and Dumervil and co. and get to Brady, and Tebow works his magic, Denver can win this thing, especially since they officially have an overall winning record now.

Bad weather does not help this version of the Pats....they are a dome team without the dome, or the great pass rush that you need to with that crap.

Denver has the first game on tape and that will help them. NE has the same tape but Tebow will be hard to figure out this time because of his new passing ability. Denver has a chance if there are no turnovers that fall in NE hands. With god being there also(Just kidding) there is a chance that brady will not make the whole game due to his whoring with models.
