Re: Brutal NE Weather Could Cause Another Post Season Disaster for Pats
If it's snowing, I'm throwing - this will help the Pats not hurt them

I cannot imagine the frenzy at M&T if Denver wins that game.
Sick and tired of transplants. If Pissburgh is so great, carry your black-lung asses back there.

Re: Brutal NE Weather Could Cause Another Post Season Disaster for Pats
Reminds me of last year when the Pats thrashed the Jets in the regular season and everyone thought they would smash them in the playoffs too.
Although Brady has had some good games in the past throwing the ball in cold, generally, no.
His team was eliminated in cold weather his last two playoff games at home. And Denver's stength is defense.
If this game were in a dome I think the Pats would win by 20. But winning that bye and getting home field in cold weather may not help them. Especially since this is a night game.
If Denver wins this would really get the Ravens pumped up even more to beat Texans, it would just mean beating Denver at M+T and the next stop would be Indianapolis.

Maybe the NFL will come up with another new QB rule for Tom Brady this year.. i.e....the tuck rule during the snowy playoff game against the Raiders

Tom Brady has won AFC Championship games in blinding snow storms. I wouldn't get my hopes up

Re: Brutal NE Weather Could Cause Another Post Season Disaster for Pats
We recently benefited from a tuck rule call this year.
I don't see this hurting the Patriots too much, much of their passing is short and intermediate. If they were depending on throwing deep it might hurt some.
The temp will be around 20 during the game and the winds look to be in the 12-15 MPH range.
It does help the Broncos but not that much. If they can run the ball and get to Brady they can win.

I can't see Brady losing to the Denver Tebows, but I also didn't see it happened to the Steelers. We will see.
