First ever home divisional round game

I realized this morning that this is the Ravens first ever DIVISIONAL round home playoff game! Maybe I wasn't paying attention or maybe I just "mis-remembered" but I was thinking the Colts and Titans home games were divisional round. They were actually Wild Card games. Not that this game needs anything more to get hyped about but I thought that was interesting. Lets Go!!!!

2006 Colts game was one as well. Ravens were a #2 seed that year I believe. Billick gave the players off the first week in anticipation for the Colts matchup. Harbaugh did a 180 vs Billick, he still had practice last week to prepare for the Texans.

I was thinking that too, but according to this ESPN link it was a Wild Card game. They won the AFC North in 2007 but didn't have a first round bye.

We were 13-3 that year. How did we not have a bye? It was a Divisional Game.

Chargers I think were a 1 seed, and I think... the Patriots were a two?

That link is flat out wrong.

The Colts had to beat the Chiefs at home during wild card weekend to get to the divisional round.

#2 seed wouldn't be playing in a WC game. Colts were a WC team that year, who of course won and beat the Ravens 15-6. All Field Goals.

I dont know why that says wild card, but its wrong. We had a bye that year I remember it.

    The Patriots were 12-4.

Trust me...that link is wrong...not every link on the internet is correct.

The wild card round for the AFC that year was the 10-6 Jets at the 12-4 Patriots, and the 9-7 Chiefs at the 12-4 Colts.

Again, the Colts game was a divisional game.

You're right! I remember now I cam up for that game and was dreading having to wait the whole bye week.

no sir we in fact did have a bye in the 2006-07 (McNair) year. We had the first round bye and thought everyone would be rested up and come out firing on all cylinders. Instead Steve McNair had the worst game of his career.
