It is not accurate I can yell up to 110 in to a db meter. This only reads 79-80 db

apparently in the one i just downloaded to my phone i can whistle up to 95... dont know how accurate this thing is. Went to a very quiet room and it held steady at 50

Hovering around 50 inside your home should be just about right. To get much below that, you'd need a windless desert. To drop even lower, you'd need to be in outer space ;)
