    Game tickets on ebay...

I see some nosebleed tickets on ebay for 200 to 250...are these legit prices? As in, are they realistic prices for playoff tickets...?

I was scanning Ebay last night to see what the market was and you are looking at about $$225-250 for nosebleeds (row 29 or 30). I saw some closer to midfield going for way more even in those high rows.

eBay is the wild west when it comes to tickets.

Use the Ticket Exchange -- guaranteed to be a legit ticket.

Stubhub is pretty solid as well. They add a 10% fee though which always adds another $25-$30 to the final cost.

Stub Hub is eBay. eBay bought them out.

They don't guarantee the ticket is legit. It probably will be, but if it ends up being fake, all they will do is give you back your money.

Lol @ Wild West. That's the only place I use to get ravens tickets. I'll check Ticket Exchange though, thanks.

I disagree with ebay being the wild west. They've really clamped down on the false auctions over the years. I've never had problems buying Ravens tickets there and generally speaking most products on ebay are at the price the market set for them.

Compared to the Ticket Exchange, it's most certainly the wild west.

I've been burned as have a few friends.

There is a reason eBay won't guarantee the transaction. It's because fakes slip through often.

That's what scares me. Merely getting your money back doesn't help you with airfare, rental car, hotel, food, time off and the fact that you probably missed the game while trying to contact them. I haven't had issues with StubHub yet but I can imagine the scammers come out more in the playoff and Superbowl.

I've bought many of tickets on eBay before and never had a problem. Just make sure the person's feedback is close to 100% and they have a good amount of transaction history. Beats paying that ridiculous ticket fee.
