Sources indicate Manning to be released

Sources were told by Irsay that Manning could be released in March to save the 28 million bonus

Where can you see him landing if he is released or do you think he retires.

I don't believe it; I think that's why the Polians were fired because they wanted to move on and Irsay didn't.

If he is released though, I still say the Jets would be a likely spot.

Jets can't afford him, not many teams can.

How about the Jaguars? They have the most cap room in the league as of November ($32 mil). A new coach is probably not going to want to continue to Gabbert experiment (don't blame him). A good QB should put them in contention, even without any big name receivers - they've already got a pretty good defense, and one of the best running backs in the league. Not to mention the amount of buzz it would create in Jacksonville...it may be a franchise saving move.

The only question is would Manning be interested (he may relish the chance to stick it back to the Colts twice a year, a la Farve in Minnesota). Either way I think the Jags would make a hard push at him.

I just cannot see them tying up so much money in one position. Paying Manning 28 million, before paying Luck #1 pick money, even if that amount is lower with the new CBA.

I say if they can swing the cap hit Miami or The Slurs.

Miami offers pretty much everything but they don't have a QB (Heck they may have already contacted Manning illegally to see who he'd want as a coach).

Going to the Slurs would give Shanny a chance to be a genius again and to be able to make his prodigy look competent. Alas though, the midget would probably fire the Shanny's, sign Manning and make him the first player/HC in league history.

    Dolphins,skins,BRONCOS,browns,Seahawks, cardinals or Jags.
The usual suspects. Possibly Vikings and maybe even the Buccaneers. Lots of options. I say Denver in the end.

No idea what their cap space looks like but it will be a different team next year; several of those guys will be gone. WR overhaul, safety (as much as I love Leonhard he can't stay healthy)....

Tom Moore is there and Peyton could room acros town with his brother ;)

I can't imagine any good GM candidate wanting that job unless Irsay is willing to cut Peyton and commit to rebuilding around Luck. Keeping Peyton means you have to keep Wayne, Saturday, Mathis etc and means the team will be a wreck in 2-3 years. Not a very appealing opportunity.

I throw in Washington too, but Peyton doesn't want to play Eli twice every year. But you know the midget would make an offer.
