Dickson and Pitta: I was wrong.
Todd Heap (2010): 40 rec, 599 yards, 5 td
Dennis Pitta (2011): 40 rec, 405 yards, 3 td
Ed Dickson (2011): 54 rec, 528 yards, 5 td
When Heap was cut I stupidly declared that it would take both Pitta and Dickson to match Heap's production from 2010. Dickson not only bettered Heap's production from last year he did it while splitting reps with Pitta who himself came very close to matching Heap's production.
I say this to say.... I am so glad the Ravens are not run by me. Because if it was up to me both these young studs would still be riding the pine behind an obviously declining Heap.

I'm glad none of us run the Ravens. I've been very impressed with the moves made in recent years.

Todd Heap did miss 3 games last year due to a hamstring injury, just sayin'

Re: Dickson and Pitta: I was wrong.
Heap missed even more games this year and was injured when he
came here. Oz knew what he was doing.
It's been said Heap doesn't like taking medications and shots because
of his religion. Not sure if that's true but it's been said.
Whatever, he only had 283 yds this year and 1 TD as opposed to 938 yds and 8 TDs for Pitta and Dickson.

Re: Dickson and Pitta: I was wrong.
I was all for the youth movement this FO knew what they were doing as far as getting young and faster in the receiving core, but I'm still not happy about the left tackle situation, but its been adequate so far.

Speaking of us getting young, Piss didn't.
It showed when we punched them out twice this year and again
yesterday they looked like old men on that last play of the game.
We said all year they had secondary probs.

Re: Dickson and Pitta: I was wrong.
I was against the cuts initially(probably from the "sticker shock") but I came around and just trusted what they did, because they are rarely wrong.
The front office has been nothing short of spectacular the last couple years so I will defer to them every time when a questionable move is made.
They were right again.

Re: Dickson and Pitta: I was wrong.
Man i want us to play Pitta and Dickson as much as possible, in the same formation. We just look much better when we do that.
Just forget about a 3rd receiver for now... More Dickson, and Pitta.Lardarius "The predator" Webb
