The worst article/rankings I have ever seen from ESPN.

Ravens Defense ranked #7 out of 12 playoff teams. Behind the Pats. Insane.

Can you quote the relevant portion? Most of us aren't ESPN insiders.

kind of tough to read, i forgot it was in insider article. I also jumped to conclusions, this is the total ranking of offense and defense according to scouts inc. regardless, it really makes no sense at all.

Scouts Inc. ranked all 12 playoff teams in nine categories (wide receivers and tight ends combined to form an overall receiving category), with 1 being the best and 12 the worst. After tallying the points, here are the overall results, with the lowest total score being the best:

Team QB RB Rec. OL DL LB DB ST Coach Total
    1. Green Bay Packers 1 10 1 4 11 6 6 3 3 45
    2. San Francisco 49ers 9 3 10 12 3 1 2 1 6 47
    3. Houston Texans 11 1 9 1 5 3 1 6 11 48
    4. Pittsburgh Steelers 4 12 3 8 7 2 4 5 4 49
    5. New Orleans Saints 2 4 2 2 12 12 5 10 2 51
    6. New England Patriots 3 7 5 3 10 9 12 2 1 52
    7. Baltimore Ravens 8 2 11 6 2 8 3 9 5 54
    8. New York Giants 5 5 6 10 1 10 9 7 8 61
    9. Atlanta Falcons 7 6 7 11 6 5 7 11 7 67
    10. Detroit Lions 6 11 4 7 4 4 10 12 12 70
    11. Cincinnati Bengals 10 9 8 5 8 11 8 4 10 73
    12. Denver Broncos

It's not just defense, it's an overall score. Actually kind of interesting but I don't know what's behind the numbers.

Ravens Dline ranks #2 behind Giants, Corners rank #3 behind Texans and 9ers. What kills them is Receivers 11, ST 9, QB 8, LB 8

    Whatever.

We are 6-0 against playoff teams, did they consider that?

Whatever... this is just their combined opinions. At least when Billick then something kind of similar he used actual stats. Don't let it get to ya. Just more BS from the 4 letter network.

Man people have major reading comprehension problems. Overall we are 7th which is a joke but Williamson is a known Steelers homer. Defensively he has us ranked way above NE in each category. Our poor special teams is what drags us down and I can't argue with that.

I just found it odd that after they put together all the data, they ended up with a bogus list. What's the point of even printing that, it's garbage.

Its a flawed list. The Ravens are 4-0 vs. the teams ranked 2-4. That's all that should matter.

We are ranked 7th. We are 4-0 vs teams 2,3,4. I know that's not the basis of the rankings. My only point was to show a moronic list that probably shouldn't have made it onto the front of the nfl page on espn
