Steelers running back coach badly burned in fire
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...urned-in-fire/
He will live. He is currently in a medically induced coma. He has burns on 30-50 percent of his body, on his arms and legs and the back of his head.
I hope he isn't too disfigured and doesn't lose motor movements or anything like that. Thankfully he didn't get burnt on the face. Good luck, Kirby.

Re: Steelers running back coach badly burned in fire
It's a really horrible injury and it hits real close to home for me. In 2006, I lost my mother to burn injuries (she was 65). The key factor in this one is going to be age (the skin regenerates faster the younger you are). He's 50 and has about 30-50% burn coverage (mom had about 50%), but he should be OK as long as there's no infection setbacks. He's in for a long road, but his age and presumably physical condition should enable him to get through. Setting all rivalries aside, my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Kirby Wilson is only 50. No matter which team he coaches, we are all his fans today.
Here's hoping you fully recover coach... Bc
