Re: Tom Clements may be a legit option now for OC if they decide to switch

Honestly - I just want them to bring in a legit QB's coach, new WR's coach, and a new OL coach.

Good point, thats the other side of it. Since Mccarthy calls the plays in GB maybe he'd feel becoming a playcaller would aide him in getting a HC gig. At the same time you'd think if he stayed in line in GB he'd eventually get a shot, especially if Philbin gets a gig first and he's able to slide in as the OC.

at the minimum this needs to happen. Its the only way id swallow having cam around still. OL coach should be fired on principle alone.

Yea, I dont know if Matsko was any better as a coach, but Moeller certainly hasn't prepared the OL like he should and he's a DUI away from being suspended from the league IIRC.

The only legit option was Norv.

No way they bring in an unknown at this point.

Unless there is a major offensive implosion in the post season, Cam is back next year.

    Brad Childress?

    Connection there with Harbaugh

Not say he's a good or bad option, just adding him to the thread

I don't see Clements making a lateral move and depending on his contract, a team may likely have to name him asst HC

That's my guess. Harbaugh seems to value personal relationships and we know they're close. The West Coast Offense is all about creating space for wide receivers instead of running precise routes. Boldin doens't have the speed to separate. Torrey is not a great route runner. You also have 2 tight ends and a running back who are lethal against zones. That sounds a lot like what Childress did with the Eagles and Vikings.
