Perfect storm is set-up for the Ravens in this year's playoffs. No Peyton to get through, and they don't have to be road-warriors. Despite what many people believe it's not that hard to beat a team 3 times in a season and actually happens quite often. This will be the case when the Ravens edge the Steelers in the AFC championship. Rodgers is surgical but I think the Ravens defense can make enough stops to out score the Packers.

#1 Packers over #4 Giants
#6 Bengals over #1 Patriots
#2 Ravens over #5 Steelers

And I'm not just being a homer by thinking the Ravens will have home field throughout the AFC playoffs. This is my scenario.

Wild Card round-
Saints over Lions
Giants over Falcons
Texans over Bengals
Steelers over Broncos
Divisonal round-
49ers over Saints
Packers over Giants
Pats over Steelers
Ravens over Texans
Championship round-
Packers over 49ers
Ravens over Pats
Super Bowl
Ravens over Packers
I think the perfect storm is brewing for the Ravens. They are very healthy & rolling w/ confidence. They have their playmaker in Ray Rice performing at a high level. The defense always tightens up in the playoffs.
They have 2 defenses (Pats & Packers) that cannot stop the run & if they elect to, don't have the playmakers to stop our passing attack.

Ravens beat the Packers in a similar scenario as the late 90's.
Young QB takes Packers to consecutive Super Bowls... loses the second one to a team trying to win it for a veteran.
On the podium Bisciotti says "This one's for Ray... and Ed!"

That's right - 'Harbowl II'. My preseason pick was Ravens over Falcons. Lions are my choice for the NFC 'dark horse' but don't bet the house on it (or the hay in the barn). If Steelers are smart they will start Batch at QB against Denver (give Roethlisberger a personal bye before heading to New England) - but I don't think they're that smart.

Re: Really?
JMU just won the internet for today with his complete pwning of SteelCurtain.
The 2012 Lombardi Trophy is not rightfully anybody's yet. It must be earned and the only thing the Steelers, Ravens, Packers and anybody else has earned is the chance to try and grab it. My picks
Steelers over Broncos
Texans over Bengals
Giants over Falcons
Saints over Lions
Patriots over Steelers
Ravens over Texans
Saints over 49ers
Giants over Pack
Patriots over Ravens
Saints over Giants
Saints over Patriots Final Score 84 - 79.
