Red face Totally OT (forgive me)

Apologies again for this being totally off-topic but I need a hand!:bag:

I have a couple of albums by a US band called Vertical Horizon. Have any of you heard of / know anything about them?

My wife also loves them, and we would like to see them play in concert. If that could be tied in with a Ravens match = perfect !!!!!!!

If any of you guys can give me some info I would be a happy man

I don't know anything about them but this appears to be their official site. Good luck!

His definitions and arguments were so clear in his own mind that he was unable to understand how any reasonable person could honestly differ with him.

Can't help you with Vertical Horizon -- not my kind of music. However, if you are visiting Baltimore when Training Camp opens up & would like to expose your wife to American down-home country music, take her to 93.1 WPOC's Sunday in the Country at the Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia on JUly 29th.
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

Thanks festivus and T - I have their home page bookmarked and often look for tour dates.

T - I'll pass on the country music stuff thanks!

Would still love to be over for a game this season - might buy a lottery ticket!

Hey UK, I saw Vertical Horizon in Nashville at a Small Club about 8 years ago. It was a really good show, which which was a pleasant surprize. I wasn't expecting much because the band was two hit wonder and then fell off the music scene map entirely.

That makes me wonder how much they tour anymore.

Looks like they have put out a new album recently, so maybe I am wrong but I haven't heard a word from them since Everything You Want came out...

Hope you find what your looking for.

Oh and good choice to spare your ears from Country Damage...

They did release another album - 'GO' which is even better, the last two tracks Inside & Underwater are VERY good - a major part of the reason I want to see them. They did tour (played in DC) a couple of years ago - but we were in the middle of a 'double' house move and could not make a trip.

    I'll say again, Party Fells Point on Friday:D / Inner Harbour am:D V.H. gig Sat pm:D / Ravens ALL Sunday:D :D :D !!!!

    HEAVEN!!!!!

Vertical Horizon are from Minnesota aren't they? We've an album of theirs at home but I haven't listened to it - I'll stick it on tonight.

From looking around I can't see any upcoming tour dates. If not I'd suggest you just come over and spend an extra night drinking instead. I'll go out and buy some celery in nervous anticipation.

I have my eye on the St. Loius game on the 14th of October, but Tania is going to have to come this time. She did ask if was okay to 'read a book' whilst the game was on :grbac: :bag: which deflated my case somewhat. If there was a concert thrown in I might swing it!!!

UK, when you come you should come out in Canton instead of Fells Point.

Tell her "sure." See if she can concentrate on her novel with 70,000 screaming nuts around her.
