    Well sure it sounds kooky, but at least he gave it a try. What's your reason for Ed leaving the rook out there like that (Chargers game, mostly)?

    And you couldn't be more wrong.

    Go on NFL.com and find the Playbook episode they did on that game, focusing on the secondary.

    Want to know what it showed? Rivers avoiding the middle of the field and throwing all the balls to the sideline so Reed had no chance to get there. He was throwing it in the 3 yd window in between the receiver and the sideline almost exclusively.

    They showed the coaches tape and Rivers was throwing away from the middle of the field the entire game to avoid Reed. We were playing a single high safety a lot and guess who that was patrolling back there.
