Ed has a habit of doing that with the new CBs. He did it to Rolle, during his first year as a Raven. After that first year, the issue seems to go away. It has the feel of an initiation or something.

Want to know what it showed? Rivers avoiding the middle of the field and throwing all the balls to the sideline so Reed had no chance to get there. He was throwing it in the 3 yd window in between the receiver and the sideline almost exclusively.

They showed the coaches tape and Rivers was throwing away from the middle of the field the entire game to avoid Reed. We were playing a single high safety a lot and guess who that was patrolling back there.
