A fu manchu is what joe has. A handle bar mustache is a stache where the ends curl up.

I think technically a fu manchu is a stache that is grown exclusively on one's upper lip. You are supposed to let the hair grow long enough at the ends that it hangs downward, but everything other than your upper lip is shaved.

And a handlebar is like you said, ends curl up.

I think what Joe is growing is simply a horseshoe moustache, but one that is thin enough to look a bit like a fu manchu.

I'll be shaving my goatee to a horseshoe for our 1st playoff game, and keeping it (hopefully) through the SB. So look for the pic in (again, hopefully) 2 weeks.

We win Sunday I am sculpting my goat into a Fu and rocking it throughout the playoffs.

Did that a few weeks ago. Stuck with despite the SD game.

Yesterday we were in line for a ride at Disney World. There was a gentleman with a finely groomed Fu Man Chu (or "Horsehoe" to be more accurate) in the adjacent line. Even tho he & his wife had no Ravens gear on, i asked them if they were Ravens Fans. He replied "Oh hell yeah and we're gonna win Sunday too!" :D

Saw a couple more Ravens Fans near the Tower of Terror. High Five's allo around.
