Hitler's name allowed on Wisconsin petition to recall Guv

As long as it is properly dated and Hitler's address is in Winsconsin, same
    with Mickey Mouse.

Why not. Millions of dead people have voted DEM since at least the Kennedy
Nixon election and even the Sauerbrey election for Guv here so why not
    allow Hitler to vote.

It would be the same as the unions forcing all their members to vote DEM
    every election.

In the last election ACORN got the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys to vote
in 22 state elections so again, why not Hitler.

    http://theobamafile.com/obamaacorn.htm

HITLER is synonimous with DEMs forcing OBAMA CARE down our throats when
the country didn't want it. Over 55% favor repeal.

In a recall effort, a petition signed by "Adolf Hitler" will be valid; a signature of "Mickey Mouse"
will be valid -- and this is being allowed! The name of this board is The Government Accountability
Board, and all they're doing here is passing the buck.

Saying Hitler is synonymous with democrats is probably one of the more insulting things I've ever heard, and I'm a republican.

I don't know anything about this topic

But I'm interested in the voter suppresion part in the link

    A quick google gets me
Much of the attention on voter suppression in 2011 has focused on a series of voter identification laws, requiring people to present a valid state-issued photo identification in order to cast their votes.
You mean you don't have to show ID?
    What happens presently?

And If I've ruined this thread feel free to get lost

Nope. The dopes don't need no ID.

Great post Irish. You're more informed than 99% of the American public,
    which ain't saying much-lol.

BTW, the PIIGS are almost off the clift - right? The entire EU is collasping.

I insulted the DEMs? REad the link. The DEMs are the ones putting Hitler's
name on the petition and voted dead people for decades.

These signatures will be accepted unless they are challenged -- which is very handy,
of course, since it means all the unions and other Democrats have to do is flood the system
with so many phony signatures that there's neither the time nor manpower to challenge them all.

And what do you call forcing legislation down a country's throat that it didn't want?

Forcing socialism down a country's throat it didn't want?

Refusing to cut spending when the country wants it cut not to mention the deficit.

Dems just killed the GOPs bill to balance the budget. Surprise, surprise.

That's what Hitler did and I was being nice saying that. I could have said Hitler and
Stalin and Kohiney and Hanibal and Gangas Kahn all members of the most ruthless
leaders in history list just like FDR putting the entire freaking pacific fleet in one spot for the
    Japs to kill.

    I didn't cause I was being nice.

I can't find where it says Democrats are actually putting Hitler's signature on a petition.

Isn't it funny how from state to state the rules on petitions differ? Remember how hard opponents to the petition to repeal in-state tuition for illegal aliens in Maryland looked for technical errors in signatures?

The DEMs are the ones with the petition to begin with, them and the unions.

Like Rush says, all they have to do is flood the system with thousands of phony names
to tie it up. Also, as I stated, they have used dead people to vote for years like in
the Kennedy election where Mayor Daly in Chicago sent teams out to grave yards copying
names off head stones for votes. That election was so close, Nixon could have ordered a re-count
like Gore but he didn't want to put the country thru what Gore did tying the election
    up for months.

It sure ain't the GOPs because they don't want the petition to begin with. Their
man is the one the unions and DEMs are trying to recall.

I also provided a link where ACORN has commited voting fraud by sending phony names
on ballots of many states that included the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys. In the
last election their Feds even raided their offices.

Nevada was one of the states, the same state where voting machines turned out ballots
with only Reid's name on it in the last election.

Now that's something the Nazis would do.

    Just saying, ya know?

ACORN should be abolished, and Chicago politics have been beyond dirty at least since Prohibition. However, my point is that the fact that it may be possible to load a petition with false names and perhaps get away with it does not equate to anyone having done so - yet.

Re: Hitler's name allowed on Wisconsin petition to recall Guv

Another Faux Noise "low information voter" moment. And of course, the low information voter bought it hook, line and sinker.

Fox News reporter Eric Shawn told viewers on Thursday that signatures from “Mickey Mouse” and “Adolf Hitler” were “allegedly on petitions in Wisconsin in the recall for Governor Scott Walker.” Fun little story with the potential to go viral? Absolutely. True? Not so much.

In fact, the original story that Shawn evidently built his report off of is about a strictly hypothetical situation discussed by members of the Wisconsin’s Government Accountability Board who were asked what would happen if someone signed the petition as Mickey Mouse. There’s been no actual allegation that anyone actually signed the petition against Walker that way.

    http://tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmem...ref=fpnewsfeed

The absurd thing about this story is the inability of the Fox viewer to critically think their way through proposition. Look at it this way...If opposition to Walker really wanted to slant the vote in their favor via false signatures, why would they use names such as Mickey Mouse and Hitler and not names like Jim Smith or Sally Brown?

Remember that Fox viewers recently were shown to be less aware of political facts than folks that watch no news at all. I think this story shows just that truth. Good work Trap. Again...good thing you are not an editor.

To the world of true news facts:

Over 507,000 signatures have been gathered for the recall effort in the first month. The amount required is 540,208. The goal of the campaign is 720,000, and the deadline for submitting signatures is Jan. 17.

    Merry Christmas Scott Walker!

I think that's probably the point, exaggerated by the use of AH and MM as examples. If - as was admitted - those two names could be accepted, more "normal" names - as you've suggested - would be too. In other words, while there is no evidence to show it has been, the petition could be easily falsified under these circumstances.

Again, that's quite a contrast to the screening of a recent petition circulated here in Maryland.

They just got the OK to go ahead by the board to do the phony names.
Check link again and it just wasnt Chicago but here in Maryland where
DEMs went to the grave yards in the Sauerbrey election which was also
close. She did contest it. It's been done in many states.
