And a game behind us put them out of reach for the #1 seed. We can still lose a game I think as long as its not division and take a head to head tie with them.

I'm not factoring the Texans in at this point. Besides, is rather be a game up on everyone and have the head to head on the Steelers.

Nope. We could only if NE lose to a AFc opponent.

All our games remain in the AFC.

NE are 9-3 (7-2 in conf), Bal are 9-3 (6-2 in conf).

If NE lose to Wasington, NE go to 9-4 but remain 7-2 in conf. All of their nfc games are done.

If the scenario above played out, NE would be 12-4 with (10-2) in AFC with Bal at 12-4 but only at 9-3. AFC conference games is just below head to head in 2 team or 3 team tiebreakers.

If they lost to Denver or any other AFC team, we'd have a game in hand.
