Wade Phillips taking a medical leave of absence
According to Adam Schefter. He is expected to return later this season. Their LB coach will be taking over in the meantime. Could hurt their chances of winning out

Re: Wade Phillips taking a medical leave of absence
hadn't heard this; hope he is OK. He's done a phenomenal job with that defense this year, really can't get enough credit. Not sure if there will be a letdown in his absense

That doesn't sound good. Even Sean Payton with his broken leg and torn ligaments didn't miss any time. This must be serious. I've always heard that Wade is a really good person. I'm hoping that he's okay and will get better soon.

Was thinking the same wickedsolo
Hopefully he'll be able to take better care of himself in future.
Eric Mangini has transformed himself since he's left coaching, looks realy well
Bit offtopic, was just thinking of a coach who is taking on some good habits
Any Texans interview I see the players rave over Wade Philips and his coaching, they love him in Houston
