I was thinking about this very thing last night, I am sort of torn because one side says wear the jersey to show these idiots who the REAL Colts were before they moved to vanilla boringland, but on the other hand I am a Ravens fan and I don't want to wear the colors of the opposing team.

My decision... Wear Purple, I bet only 50% of their fans even know who Johnny U was in that basketball town.

Rock the Johnny U. jersey (especially if it has his name or Baltimore Colts patches on it). That was your (and this town's) football history. I assume those around you will figure it out, especially once you start cheering. Anyway, a Ravens hat or other purple accessories will keep your message clear.

Don't wear another team's colors the same day the Ravens are playing them. It's fine to have an appreciation for the Baltimore Colts and Unitas but it is 100% inappropriate to wear a Colts jersey when we are playing the Colts. They are not our colors anymore.

I like that!!

I don't like the idea of wearing another team's jersey to your home game.. Even though its 19. Ruins the sense of uniformity.

Your idea is nice though.

If you go to their forum you'll find a lot of them sport the #19. So IMO you would be seen as an Indy fan.

However, you should do whatever you want to do on this one. Can't see how anyone could disparage that jersey in Baltimore.

I don't think anyone would look down on you for wearing the 19 to it...it's just silly, IMO, to wear blue and white when the opposing team's colors are blue and white. Just like it's stupid to have SAFE in yellow jackets when we play the Steelers, or to wear a red shirt when we play the Cardinals.

Support the team that we are now...
