    Re: Norv Turner in Purple

No way to Norv coming here, he's a terrible HC and the same as Cam as OC. There's no point in repplacing Cam with the same guy.

Let's see how this year plays out, but if it doesn't put me in the Clements camp.

No way Clements accepts an OC job. He's going to be a head coach either in college or in the NFL.

I dont know about that GOTA.

Clements had a HC gig before in Buffalo and while he got a fair amount out of Kelly Holcombe, the Bills weren't very good at all.

I'd be surprised if an NFL team offered him a HC gig. He'd be better off going to NCAA to be a HC somewhere.

As much as I would be happy to see Cam go, the thought of improving our OC spot by adding Chilly leaves me pretty cold......:grbac:

Cam still needs to go. I think we need to bring in somebody who can help improve Flacco more or atleast a qb coach.

All I am saying is that Flacco is suitable for the Air-Coryell 'based' system. This is his first year of actually having a weapon for that system. We've seen it run without proper personnel and with poor in-game adjustments, and just come to the conclusion that Joe is better fit for a west coast 'based' system. I think otherwise.

We need to be careful here. Joe is not a West coast system QB. A WC system offensive coordinator would be a disaster. The must be an alternative to WC and Air Coryell systems out there.what does Norm Chow run?
