It took a Miami 2007 type of offensive performance to lose, by less than a TD, to the Jaguars.

I'll agree with HoustonRaven that the actual reason is the opponent, but I'd like to think that the NFL had an ulterior motive in trying to help a once competitive team with a strong and growing fanbase (don't forget our fights with the Jags in our early days), have the chance to pull in those weary fans that once were rabid supporters.....

Case in point....which sadly hits way to close to home...... The Orioles

The tarps were an agreement in last years preseason to counter the blackouts. It's a contract with the NFL....Even if fans were knocking down the doors, they couldn't remove them.

Back to my last post......if the O's had blackout clauses for tv rights.....how many black tarps do you think we'd see??! But as a Baltimore native, I still route for them each game!
