Obama black and Cool, Cain just black.
"On Saturday, NewsBusters reported that CNN in the six days after Politico's hit piece on Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain was published did more stories on that subject than it did on Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's connections to domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, convicted real estate developer Tony Rezko, and America-hating Rev. Jeremiah Wright combined."

Re: Obama black and Cool, Cain just black.
The piece here that the conservatives keep missing is that liberals aren't that worried by Cain and in fact, it only helps Obama's reelection chances to keep Cain on the stage. You will understand this better if you look into whom is being attack with ads by Team Obama. They have mostly attacked Romney and to a lesser degree Perry when he first announced. They have spent zero time on Cain. Cain is none other than the anti-Romney, anti-establishment candidate. Certainly you understand that having someone like Cain doing well enough to take shots at Romney does nothing but help Obama. The liberal establishment benefits from keeping Herms around and would love to see him as the GOP candidate. The intellectual might and financial support is behind Romney. I would much rather have a guy like Karl Rove sitting on the sideline pissed off that Cain is the GOP candidate than having organization running ads against Obama.
The only interest a liberal media has in the now 5 women that have come forward is just for comical value. This whole vetting of Herms sexual harasssment and quite possibly sexual assault history is GOP establishment. The conservative media can try to pin the realization of another poorly vetted GOP candidate, as was Palin, on liberal media but the truth is, as was significantly with Palin, that your GOP establishment is just as responsible for these stories that expose individuals that simply aren't Presidential material.
As far as Ayers, Wright and the rest of the boogymen that the conservative media portrayed, there is a reason those stories never gained any traction. They were nothing but Hail Marys that when deeply vetted turned up nothing of significance.
Finally, when did Bernie Goldberg and Bill O'Reilly ever affect anything anyway?

I'll donate $100 to your favorite charity if you can show me the deep vetting you claim.
Show me where BHO was questions personally, at least 5 times about Ayers.
Personally at least 10 times about Wright.
The 95 stories the Poltico ran about Cain in A WEEK, I challenge you to find 95 about Ayers from sources other than Fox or National Review, Daily caller etc.
And 95 stories about right from other than conservative sources.
I'll give you a pass about Rezko and Farrakhan, Frank Marshall Davis, we'll just stick with the ones you mentioned were deeply vetted.

Re: Obama black and Cool, Cain just black.
Ayers and Wright were non-stories to the majority of Americans. Obama and Ayers worked on education together...not ways to make pipe bombs! Do you really think if Obama truly "palled around with terrorists" he would be electable? As far as Wright...so Obama sat in a church where somewhere, sometime an A.A. minister preached about the unjustices garnered upon black Americans to a black American congregation. It is just a nonstory to most people, obviously, or Obama wouldn't have been elected.
It is just like the b.s. birth certificate stuff which was also a non-story...being a scary muslim which was also a nonstory.
Cain or the NRA, at least, setteld on two sexual harassment claims. That is a documented truth that demonstrates poor judgement. It is a story and the truth should be told. Cain has been evasive since the beginning and it makes him look dishonest - that is also a story. Let the story be told and the voter can personally decide whether it is important enough for them.
Even Gingrich is out now telling Cain to tell his story and I read on another political forum that Cain is supposed to speak within the hour about it.
I think there is a picture of him and the women together that he recently said he doesn't know. If that is true, he is caught in another lie such as saying there has never been a settlement when there was two.
He is back peddling again.
