As I mentioned in another thread, there are too many competitive teams out there this year. A lot of the tie breakers IMO will come down to:

1) Division record
2) Conference record.

If the Ravens lose this coming weekend, that will give them 3 conference losses, which is not what they want at the halfway mark, particularly with four more division games left which are also AFC conference.

With the Bills, Patriots, Jets, Steelers, Bengals, Ravens, Chargers, Raiders, Texans, and Titans all in the race at this point ( mid way ), there are a lot of things which can and will happen before it's all said and done. Best way for the Ravens to guarantee a playoff spot, is by winning the division, because I think this year it's going to be tough running with a strong AFC east and an equally strong AFC north. I look for both wild cards to come from each division. JMO
