Funny Boller / Palmer 'joke' on radio

I am not one to pile on poor Kyle....but I heard a funny this a.m. on the radio that just cracked me up.

It was on America in the Morning, hosted by Jim Bohanan. His sports guy is Robert Workman - funny guy.

Anyway Workman reports, "Carson Palmer is expected to start for the Raiders on Sunday as he was splitting first team snaps with Kyle Boller. Of course, Boller knows the offense way better since he's been there for 2 years, not 2 days...but Palmer will start because, well he's Kyle Boller...and not only will Carson Palmer start over him, so would Jim Palmer and Arnold Palmer."

Cracked me up! Maybe because it was like 5:30 a.m. :D

Pretty dissapointing Qb Draft. Palmer, Leftwich, Boller, and Grossman. Palmer has been pretty good, not great, and bless the rest, they all still make more in a year than I may make in a lifetime.

It's funny how there'll be years where it's rivers/eli manning/roethlisberger or stafford/sanchez/freeman and other years like that one or jamarcus russell/brady quinn. You have to be lucky and need a qb in the right year.

I can't think of one Raven game Boller was did not trip over his own feet. He must have Duck feet or something. I watched a neighbors three leg dog fall less then Boller.

Not to mention he is married to a former Miss California. What a life, to ride the pine for millions of dollars a year and then go home to a former Miss America contestant, where do I sign up?

IIRC, the Oracle Known as old19fan predicted that Boller would be out of football and pumping gas several seasons ago while Grossman, Palmer and Leftwich would all be on the road to the HOF.

Of course, oldie also was the first to note that Suggs would be a bust....
