Re: Week 6 - Ravens vs The State of TX - GAME THREAD
Flacco hasn't had the greatest protection but he's had no touch on his passes at all. If he hits Smith in the endzone and Dixon on that late pass, it's probably 20-7 right now. No matter how good you are in other areas, bad QB play can kill you.

Completely disagree.
The OL has to block. Plain and simple. Flacco keeps running around out there and he's no Mike Vick. Cam has to adjust at the half because Boldin, Dickson, and Torrey are getting decent separation.
Flacco can take over a game and Flacco can make all of those throws. INT's happen, sacks happen, & fumbles happen.
2 more quarters to go and the Ravens get the ball to start.Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.

Re: Week 6 - Ravens vs The State of TX - GAME THREAD
Darb, I totally respect your opinion.
But I'm extremely tired of the "well he faced the Number X ranked pass defense" excuse. Guess what...we are going to play good defenses. We cannot afford to have our QB turning the ball over 2 or 3 times a game, missing open guys all over the place and holding the ball too long and taking unnecessary sacks in those games.
In the playoffs and in important division games, he needs to be able to hold his own. He obviously isn't Brady or Rodgers, so nobody is expecting 300 yards and 4 TD's with no turnovers against those teams, but shit, he can't be out there going over 2 quarters without a completion and looking like Sanchez out there.
Sanchez and Flacco are the ultimate tease QB's...they both have times where they can look great...but when they are bad (which is more than anybody would like), they shoot their teams in the foot.

If this team can ever learn to play all 4 quarters like the first quarter this game they will be very dangerous...
