Bryan McCann
I know our return game (especially without D.Reed) has been an issue, anyone think the Ravens should and will give McCann a try? He showed potential in his short time here, and flashes of good explosion/vision when on the boys, but at the same time, is it worth risking a turnover on special teams because of inexperience?

Re: Bryan McCann
I think that's pretty much the reason they signed him

“When I think of a Baltimore Raven - we go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce, and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way.” - Steve Smith Sr.

Re: Bryan McCann
I wouldnt say doghouse. hes still getting reps as an undrafted rookie at WR. They obviously trust him in that department.
I think McCann will be interesting. He did good last year for the Cowboys but hes still pretty young himself. Hes got wheels and play making ability but Reed will still take it over when he returns, which hopefully will only be a week or 2 more, unless hes had a set back or the team thinks hes more important to the passing game to risk injury.-JAB

Re: Bryan McCann
If LQ was in the dog house don't you guys think he wouldn't be out there with the 1st team O running reps at receiver?

Re: Bryan McCann
LaQuan is not necessarily in the doghouse. It is just a matter of how the Ravens work, which I like. They give a guy an opportunity to do something. If it seems like it would be really dangerous to continuously let him do it, they'll find a replacement. That is one thing that I like about what the Ravens are doing. They have given all of the younger players more opportunities. The ones that have shown that they can progress more quickly, have been given more responsibility. They have gone out and found replacements for the others.
For example, they let Torrey Smith go through training camp and start the first preseason game as a starter. Once he showed that he might need more time to be what they need him to be, they traded for Lee Evans. Smith was able to come along more slowly and now he has shown why the Ravens drafted him."Please take with you this final sword, The Excellector. Re: Bryan McCann
“One other huge issue is we need a returner,” Newsome told 105.7 The Fan. “That’s why we just signed the [Bryan] McCann kid.
“We need somebody that can help us get some field position in the punt game and in the kickoff game now that David [Reed] is hurt. We need to get some improvement in that area.”

Re: Bryan McCann
Bryan McCann will likely return kicks and punts. There are not many players who can successfully do both.
