The Eagles are a good example of why in the NFL you need a team and not just a collection of "great players." The Cowboys are always another good example.

I am also not sure what to think about the Bills. I get they have a good record and a good offense, but they are the Bills. Can they really be this good?

Well, everyone talked about how much of a great off-season they had.

A.) There are too many pieces to acclimate in a shortened off-season.
B.) They took the best man CB in the league and paid him some serious coin, to play in a zone scheme, not even utilizing his strengths.
C.) No matter what the trend in the league is, there is still a place for running the ball and stopping the run.

why?

I have seen highlights but that's it. 3 INTs and then letting the clock expire when they were in field goal range is all on Vick IMO

I just don't understand why they are trying to pass the ball like they are.

They've got one of the best young backs in the game (Shady McCoy) and they've got a good change of pace back in Ronnie Brown. Vick thrives on the play action and their OL is young an inexperienced in the passing game yet they keep trying to force the ball downfield.

Secondly, Reid takes their offensive line coach (Juan Castillo) and makes him their defensive coordinator...uhh...what?! The Eagles' D is so vanilla. They're getting completely exposed in the running game and they aren't utilizing the speed of their young LB's at all. Castillo doesn't blitz. He's also using arguably one of the best cover corners in the game in soft zones...

It's just clear that Castillo doesn't really know what to do and he's playing it safe.

You can always count on Reid to pass.
That's one reason Vick is my FF QB.:)

Vick throws his 4th INT today...that last one wasn't his fault though.

Eagles are going to be 1-4. Yikes.

I only see two games that the Eagles should definitely win (Seattle & Miami).

They've still got the Skins, Giants, Cowboys, Pats, and JEts.

I agree with you about moving Castillo to D coordinator - definetely NOT working. They really don't have the bodies to stop the run either. And when you give the ball away multiple times a game you better have a stout D
