The Crazy Newshound has found a new Ravens article.

The Ravens were pretty in pink in more ways than one on Sunday night at M&T Bank Stadium.

They beat the Jets 34 to 17 in front of more than 71,000 fans and a national audience on NBC's Sunday Night Football.

The Ravens honored Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Sunday night when they played the New York Jets.

The Ravens players and coaches wore several pink items including gloves, cleats, wristbands and jerseys.

The American Cancer Society was on hand to give out over 40,000 pink ribbons to fans as they enter M&T Bank Stadium.

Martina McBride was joined by nearly 50 women, a combination of breast cancer survivors and those currently undergoing treatment, during the pregame tribute.

Game worn items will be auctioned at www.nfl.com/auction, with proceeds to benefit the American Cancer Society.

In 2010, the NFL and its players donated more than $1 million to breast cancer awareness, prevention and research efforts as a result of the A Crucial Catch campaign, with the majority of the donation coming from the sale of pink NFL Auction items.

Footballs included pink ribbon decals, as did the padding for goal posts, and the color was splashed on the field in Baltimore and all around the NFL.

There was a large pink bow in the middle of the field at M&T Bank Stadium.

Several Ravens players like Ray Lewis wore pink gloves and pink shoes.

Some players wore pink wristbands and even pink mouthguards.

The NFL officials had pink trimmed hats, pink wristbands and pink whistles.
